The Virginia Business and Professional Women’s Foundation (Virginia BPW Foundation) was established by the Virginia Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc. in 1984.

Mission
The Virginia BPW Foundation is dedicated to providing information, resources and educational opportunities to current and future working women in Virginia.
Objectives
The Virginia Business and Professional Women’s Foundation provides:
• Scholarship funds to enable deserving individuals to acquire education beyond the high school level, for advanced degrees in science and technology, and for post-secondary career education.
• Financial support to individuals to study business conditions in a foreign country, with particular reference to the status of women in that particular country.
• Lectures, seminars and other forms of instruction to further the improvement or development of the
capabilities of individual business and professional women.
• Sponsorship of meetings and conferences of those interested in the study of the role of women in business and the professions.
• Matching funds for Choices programs and Reality Stores , by organizations or in cooperation with other interested organizations, to teach young girls about life choices.
The Virginia BPW Foundation works alone or in conjunction with persons, organizations or institutions to accomplish the Foundation’s goals.
